Dr. Kari Chellis   A Seattle native, I fell in love with dentistry and the magic dentistry could perform by changing my self-esteem when I had orthodontics done in 7th and 8th grades. I had a terrible smile that even my Dad teased me about and after having braces, I could smile proudly and be confident!

From that early influence, I went on to receive my Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Loma Linda University in 1976, graduating magna cum laude and my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 1992, graduating in the top 10% of my class.

My passion now is to create healthy beautiful smiles while utilizing the latest dental technologies in materials and prevention.

I was the original Scorpio in our office and bring Scorpio’s energy and passion to every dental guest encounter.

Besides cooking, and eating! I love spending time outdoors camping with my husband Henry and our four-legged Shepherd-Terrier "son," Spencer.

Alicia   "My passion resides within my family: my husband of eleven years, our two wonderful children, and our fabulous fat cat. My zodiac sign reads that I am a Sagittarius, but I would say I am more of a Scorpio in nature. One of my favorite things is a new tube of lip gloss!"

Kristin   "I am married to a local dentist, and we have 2 wonderful children, a daughter, Syndey, and a son, Owen. We love dogs, and have a new Standard Schnauzer puppy, named Oliver. Together we enjoy going on walks, stopping either at Starbucks or the park along the way. Our other favorite activities are water sports, skiing and soccer. My zodiac sign is the Scorpio. With 2 children, I will primarily be at home with them, but you may see me in the office every once in awhile."

Laura   "I am the newest member on the Smile Secrets Team! My passions include my two kitties, Whitney and Freckles whom I share with my long-time boyfriend, Shaun. I recently graduated with high honors from Renton Technical College. My zodiac sign is the Taurus. While I may be a true stubborn Taurus, you will find that I am also very bubbly, kind-hearted, and I truly enjoy the company of our dental guests!"
